You can notify the Finnish Extended Producer Responsibility Authority (Pirkanmaa ELY Centre) of a company you believe is active in the Finnish market and neglecting its Extended Producer Responsibility. The national authority will handle all notifications. No information is given regardin the handling of the case.

Before submitting a notification, you can check the Waste Management Compass (jatehuoltokompassi.fi) to see if the company has fullfilled its Extended Producer Responsibility obligations.

Note: Don't leave your contact information - under the Openess Act, the ELY Centre must normally provide information on the content of the notification if the party concerned requests it.

Content of the notification

You can make the notification by sending email to [email protected]. The name of the company believed to be noncompliant is compulsory information. 

If you wish, you can also give the company ID or VAT-number and the type of product within the Extended Producer Responsibility (Batteries and accumulators/ Vehicles/ Packaging/ Paper and paper products/ Tyres/ Electrical and Electronical equipment).
