What does it cost to participate?
Participation in the event is free of charge. The participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.

How can I participate?
You can participate in the event by registering in advance using the registration form. Remember to sign up no later than November 20th!
Please note that there is a limit for the number of attendees. The places are reserved in order of signing up, companies and other stakeholders have priority.

Can I participate remotely?
Yes – the event is organized partly virtually on the platform Brella.
Brella enables you to follow the livestream, and view the event schedule, participants, as well as to book 1:1 meetings with your best matches. We will send you more detailed information, instructions, and your personal link to Brella, closer to date in the beginning of November.
Please register for the event using the registration form, even if you only participate online.

Can I participate only in the morning?
Yes, of course! You can choose your favourites from the program and participate when it suits you. You can also, for example, be onsite in Vaasa in the morning and have meetings online in the afternoon, if you want!

What does being on the waitlist mean?
The interest towards the event has been enormous and all the onsite places reserved for stakeholders and international talents are now full. If you registered for the onsite event between 26.9 at 12.00 and 14.10. at 10.00, you are on the waitlist.
We follow the situation daily and inform to the next one in the line if a place in Vaasa is available.
If you are on the waitlist, a place in the online event has been reserved for you, so that you can attend virtually if a place in Vaasa is not available. If you want to leave the waitlist, please inform the organisers: [email protected].

What is Brella?
We are using a virtual event platform Brella during the event. Brella puts together the key people of the theme and enables you to network with all participants - onsite or virtually.
Brella is a networking tool, that will be opened two weeks before the event. Brella enables you to view the event schedule and information on speakers, as well as to book meetings for the event dates. Brella’s algorithms suggests suitable contacts for you based on the interests you have chosen. In this way you can optimize your time at the event and find the best possible partners for you.
On virtual booths you can get acquainted with exhibitors and their services.

Do I have to use Brella and how does it work?
Yes, every attendee creates a personal profile on the Brella platform! It is the only way to get access to the event site.

Catering

Does the event include catering?
Tuesday's program includes a free lunch, and it is possible to register for it using the event's registration form. There is a limited number of places for lunch, and they are reserved in order of registration.
A small snack is also available in the morning and afternoon at the venue. Special diets can be reported when registering for the event using the event registration form.

Where is the lunch place located?
Lunch will be served in restaurant Strampen (address: Rantakatu 6). Distance between Academill and Strampen is about 300 meters. A short walk on the beautiful seashore will be refreshing!

If you are coming to Vaasa by train, one good option is to walk to the venue! The distance between the railwaystation and the venue is 1,2 kilometers and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk.
You can also take a taxi or come by bus. Vaasa's bus timetables can be found in this route guide, where you can set your starting and ending points yourself. How do I find the right place at Åbo Akademi?
The event's Info point is located in Academill's lobby (C), which can be accessed from the entrances on the Rantakatu (A) and Koulukatu (B) sides. Autiorio (D) has direct access from the lobby.
