  • Change Training

    • Helps dismissed employees find a new job
    • The duration is case-specific, but at least 10 days
    • Recruitment Training does not lead to a partial or completed degree.

     

    Participants typically become employed by other employers or in their own businesses.

    Planning and funding of the training

    The training programme is tailored to suit the needs of the participants. The TE administration participates in the planning of the contents of the training and finds the training service provider. The employer and the TE administration select the students together.

    The Change Training is funded jointly by the employer and the TE administration. The employer contribution is 20 per cent of the total costs of the training. Standard orientation and personnel training cannot be funded as RecruitmentTraining since the employer is responsible for funding these trainings.

    If an employee is dismissed, the cooperation between the employer, employees and the TE administration is regulated by the legislation on change security.

  • Recruitment Training 

    • is tailored to your business needs
    • usually lasts 3-9 months; minimum duration is 10 training days
    • teaches students professional skills required in their work with the employer
    • can also be planned in co-operation with several employers.

     

    People who have successfully completed the training will be employed in the company. Graduates of Recruitment Training can also get employed in a hired-labour agency or as an entrepreneur contracted by the employer.

    Recruitment Training aims to answer the demands of working life. The goal can be additional or supplementary training or training to prepare for a change of career. The training includes both theory lessons and supervised on-the-job learning and practice.

  • Targeted training

    Täsmäkoulutus Training (targeted training) is vocational training tailored to the needs of the company and its personnel. The aim is that students who have completed the training will be employed by the same employer.

    TäsmäKoulutus Training does not lead to a partial or completed degree. Standard orientation and personnel training cannot be funded as TäsmäKoulutus Training since the employer is responsible for funding these trainings.

    Training and education

    • develops professional skills for future jobs
    • includes lessons at the educational institution and on-the-job learning
    • lasts at least 10 training days for each student

    As a new joint procurement service product, the ELY Centre offers language training for workplace Finnish and Swedish. With the help of the training, the company can promote the language skills related to the work and occupation of its current or recruited foreign-language personnel. Workplace Finnish and Swedish are part of the Talent Boost service package, which supports encounters between companies and international experts.

  • Need support to manage your company and personnel? Does your company's recruitment competence need to be strengthened? The management and personnel service focuses on strategic HR management while strengthening your strategic business competence together with an experienced management expert.

    The service is suitable for established SMEs whose finances are solid and who are seeking growth, internationalisation or renewal. The duration of the service is 2-5 days at a time, and it costs the company EUR 325 + VAT/day. It is available for a maximum of 15 days every three years. Before applying for the Consultancy Service, you must first have the development needs of your company assessed via the Analysis Service.
